The District by Hannah An-Foodie Birthday Lunch June 2015

Our June 2015 Foodie Birthday lunch was the last lunch before everyone scatters for the summer and produced our largest turnout ever. 57 ladies showed up to enjoy a wonderful Vietnamese-fusion meal at the newly opened District by Hannah An in West Hollywood. The District is located across the street from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, on Third Street.

The service was great and the food was delicious. We arranged our preset, family-style menu with the help of owner Hannah and her Assistant GM, Randy Allison. Our lunch was held in the upstairs private room which was open, bright and airy (very helpful since the day turned out to be unexpectedly cloudy and rainy!).

The upstairs room and bar area was decorated, like the rest of the restaurant, in a modern, zen-like decor accented by selected antiques selected by Hannah and brought to the US from Vietnam. In addition to the upstairs, there is a large downstairs room, large heated patio in front, and a smaller cozier patio area tucked along one side.

We highly recommend this restaurant for any larger gathering. The upstairs area can hold over 80 and is private. It would be a wonderful space for a private party or wedding and the second floor foyer and bar area is ideal for pre-dinner drinks and/or appetizers.
